Myth of Empires Appearance Contest Starts Today!

On the ancient battlefields, many generals were known for their effectiveness in combat. Some, however, were also known for their dashing good looks. For instance, the Records of the Three Kingdoms say that Sun Ce was “beautiful in appearance,” that Zhuge Liang was “eight feet tall, with a majestic countenance,” that Zhou Yu was “strong and handsome,” that Guan Yu “had a beautiful beard,” and that Zhao Yun had a “grand and magnificent disposition.” You could say that their looks were even part of the reason these generals have made their way into the annals of history.

Appearance brings with it a certain charm that can be very helpful to a leader. Soldiers are more likely to follow into battle someone who has an imposing look. Since Myth of Empires’ launch, players have spent a lot of time crafting their characters and their warriors. Now, Myth of Empires is calling upon players to share their creations. Winners of this event will get Gold Tokens as bonuses.

How to Join

Save your character in the character creator, then send the character file along with a screenshot and your character’s name to: mythofempires@angelagame.com. In the subject line of the email, write: “Character Submission + [your Account/Steam ID number]”

Make sure to save the template for the character in the character creation system to generate the file you’ll need.

Event Time

Submission deadline: From today until 5/22 at 12PM (UTC)

Preliminary selection period: 5/23 – 5/29 at 12PM (UTC)

Final selection period: 5/30 – 6/5 at 12 PM (UTC)

Final winner will be announced on: 6/6

Event Rewards

Best Design Award (1 winner): 30000 Gold Tokens

Most Gorgeous Style (1 winner): 15000 Gold Tokens

Exquisite Makeup Award (3 winners): 10000 Gold Tokens

Outstanding Finalist (10 winners): 3000 Gold Tokens

Selection Process

Preliminary selection period: On May 23, we will publish all of the submitted works in the Events channel of the official Myth of Empires Discord server. All players in the channel will be able to vote and compete.

Final selection period: The 15 works with the most votes will enter the final selection. Players will vote again for the Most Gorgeous Style and Exquisite Makeup awards, while the Myth of Empires team will choose the winner of the Best Design Award. The remaining participants will receive the Outstanding Finalist awards.

All entries will be made available for download at the end of the event.

Reward Process

Official members of the team will contact winning players through the email they used to send in their submissions. Keep an eye on your email from June 6 – June 15. You may also reach out to Sheriff#2872 directly to verify and receive your prize. We will announce the list of winners on June 6. If you haven’t reached out to us to confirm your prize by June 13, we will consider it as forfeiting the award.
